Argos continues to successfully take on Amazon in the UK. Previously a business famous for its in-store pencils and laminated catalogues, Argos transformed itself into the largest multi-channel retailer in the country, with innovations that led the retail industry, such as Click and Collect, Fast Track, 90-minute delivery and smartphone apps. Transform was at the heart of this revolution that saw digital revenues grow from 12% to 42% of all sales.

CEO of Transform, Emma Robertson, will talk about the Argos story and how it quickly recognised the threat posed by the arrival of Amazon in the UK. By taking strategic decisions to invest in digital, embrace Agile and user-centred design, and a willingness to innovate with concepts and ideas, Argos led the way in areas that have become cornerstones of the British retail industry.

Emma will also highlight how others are now tackling similar challenges and discuss how truly multichannel customer experiences are created through 'eco-system thinking’ that addresses technology, strategy, customers, strategy, channels and organisational culture.

If you'd like to talk further with Emma, she'll be in Australia for a few days after the webinar and would be happy to chat further.
