Did you know that free shipping drastically increases orders by 16 - 50% when first introduced?
Not only is free shipping incredibly appealing to prospective customers, but it’s becoming an effective marketing tactic to help retailers gain a quick and steady boost in sales. Savvy retailers are beginning to promote free and fast shipping options on social media, and you’d be hard pressed to find a popular online store that doesn’t feature its shipping options right on the homepage.
No longer is there any doubt that shipping is becoming one of the most effective revenue generators for modern retailers, so where’s the catch? Some retailers struggle to make their shipping options profitable, and therefore avoid experimenting with new services.
