An accomplished retail executive, Lynna Barrett has 15+ years extensive experience leading the digital transformation strategy of companies including Cotton On Group, Best & Less and Billabong Group.

Currently the Chief Digital Officer of National Tiles, Lynna has led the dramatic digital transformation of the business generating significant e-commerce sales growth, including propelling to the #1 ranking tile website in Australia with more than 15% online market penetration. Inside Retail recently announced National Tiles as Runner Up for the 2019 Retailer Awards Customer Experience of the Year category.

Lynna’s consumer-centric mindset has been acquired through stakeholder roles across the retail and wholesale sector including digital pure play and omnichannel formats. Her wealth of retail experience across all functions has contributed significantly to building highly profitable end-to-end operating models and go-to-market e-commerce strategies. She credits her success to her hands on approach, insight-driven decision-making and relentless pursuit to improve and challenge the status quo.

She is passionate about communicating her vision and gaining buy in and trust from key stakeholders to inspire and turn vision into a reality, partnering with each function to innovate and evolve to meet the rapid changes in consumer behaviour. She is considered by her colleagues to be the catalyst of change and goes the extra mile to develop and promote young talent and provide mentoring and guidance to industry newcomers.

Lynna is an alumni of Chief Executive Women (CEW), the pre-eminent organisation representing Australia’s most senior women leaders from the corporate, public service, academic and not-for-profit sectors.

Since founding Insider in 2011 with his fellow London School of Economics graduate, Hande Cilingir, Serhat Soyuerel has lead Insider’s growth and expansion into new markets. Under his guise, Insider has grown to over 350 staff in 21 regions and now helps over 400 of the world’s leading brands evolve their eCommerce and growth programs. 

Following his studies at London School of Economics and the New York Institute of Technology, Serhat gained investment banking experience in Moscow, before co-founded, scaling and exiting a successful educational startup.

Serhat spends most of his time travelling the world to assist Insider’s global offices. When he has downtime, Serhat enjoys playing football and educating budding entrepreneurs on the lessons he has learnt scaling two successful startups.

Brendan has extensive international experience in leading digital transformation and growth across different retail sectors. In late 2015, Brendan joined the Cotton On Group to lead their global digital transformation. In addition to his role in Cotton On, Brendan sits on the Customer Advisory Boards of Salesforce Commerce Cloud and POQ, a SAAS based retail App platform.

Brendan is passionate about thinking customer not channel. He believes in harnessing the power of digital to better understand customers and deliver winning business strategies. He is equally passionate about improving the capability of the Australian digital ecosystem in order to support Aussie businesses to compete effectively and grow globally.
