Paul Greenberg is an entrepreneur, cheerleader of New Retail, and a top 50 online retail expert with over 35 years’ experience in retail, technology and entrepreneurship. He is also a registered psychologist with a keen interest in consumer psychology. Paul is highly regarded as the ‘pioneer of online retail in Australia’, having co-founded DealsDirect.com.au in 2004, which grew to become the single largest online retailer in Australia. After the business was sold to private equity, he went on to establish NORA, a leading not -for-profit retail association. As the founder and Executive Director of NORA, Paul is widely regarded as an industry expert known for his clarity of thought making him a much sought after speaker at industry events. He is passionate about uplifting the spirits of retailers nationwide and looks to provide a more holistic and optimistic approach to retail in Australia. Paul has had a successful and diverse career with a key focus on entrepreneurship and start-ups, mainly in retail and technology. His career includes directorships in commercial enterprises and charities, and investment in start-ups.
Toni Fourie brings to the NORA team 35 years of diverse business experience. Toni established himself as a leading businessman with a 21 year career as Group Managing Director and CEO of some of the large listed South African based multinational companies including retailers, financial institutions and technology groups. Toni has also held numerous chairmanships and non-executive directorships of listed companies and groups of companies. Aside from his new NORA role, Toni is currently Chairman of MonPurse and Chairman of WWOT. Amongst other interests Toni is currently reading for his PhD.
Corinne is NORA's General Manager and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the association, bringing together member services, partnership opportunities, and events. Corinne is an experienced association leader, having been the General Manager of AIMIA (The Digital Industry Association of Australia) as well as GM Conferences and Events for Hanover Fairs Australia.
Corinne is currently on maternity leave.
Brittany is NORA's Marketing and Events Co-ordinator. Having recently completed her Bachelor of Business majoring in marketing, Brittany has developed a strong interest for marketing.
Sarah is responsible for all partnership and membership opportunities at NORA. With over 8 years experience in sales and sponsorship within the IT and Australian Designer space, Sarah works closely with NORA partners and members to help facilitate and promote collaboration and dialog in New Retail.
Katie started her production journey at The Economist magazine in London, managing the development of an international series of C-Suite summits. This led to management of the events team at 'EMAP' for Retail Week magazine, and Drapers Bizarre. More recently Katie moved to Australia and led the production of The Retail Fulfilment Summit and Awards for Akolade, and has since joined NORA to continue to produce influential events for the industry.
Kamyl brings with her a degree in Business Administration and 3 years of experience in the retail and real estate industry. Having been the executive assistant for Paul and Corinne, she provides administrative support to the team. She is passionate about delivering great results in whatever she does.
Gienelyn is a degree holder in Business Administration with 4 years of administrative experience. She has been working for NORA for 10 months now as an executive assistant to Sarah Burke. She is dedicated and focused on her administrative tasks, and excels at prioritizing, completing multiple tasks simultaneously, and following through to achieve project goals. She is also flexible and hardworking with a strong drive to succeed.
Jessica is an Executive Assistant with a Bachelor of Science in Business and Accountancy. She brings over 2 years of administrative experience with expertise in data management and 3 years customer service.
